As a Senior Product Designer you’ll help us in the process of digitalizing directory brands. You’ll be at the forefront of designing intuitive UI/UX solutions that not only enhance our platform but also redefine industry standards.

Your mission

Together with the team, you’ll build a scalable multi-brand design system (3+ brands) in Figma including token architecture, patterns, and templates.

What you’ll be doing

Ship work you’re proud of

  • You support our team in the design of user interfaces in web and app as well as in the further development of comprehensive multi design systems
  • (Co-)own the design system architecture: structure, libraries, naming, publishing process, governance
  • Develop Atomic Design components, including variant logic, states, and conceptual responsiveness
  • Define and build patterns & templates that will massively accelerate page building later on

Identify and drive enhancements

  • Participate in research to understand our users’ challenges first hand, building empathy and deep understanding of their challenges and needs as you improve our experience
  • Drive QA & consolidation: deduplication, properties, token leaks, consistency checks

Use the full range of product design skills to discover, design and deliver

  • You’ll communicate your vision, designs and ideas through wireframes, prototypes, user flows, mockups, and high fidelity visual designs

Own your impact

  • You’ll actively foster a healthy design culture, shaping our collaborative practices across the company

What you bring

Product Design

  • Several years of experience as a Product Designer in an agile environment
  • Above anything else, a desire to learn more in this space, you keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
  • Strong conceptual and interaction design skills and a keen eye for visual design
  • Solid understanding of design systems, design documentation, including style guides, token and component libraries, as well as usage guidelines
  • You are keen to contribute your own ideas and implement them together with the team
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG) and best practices

Tools

  • Advanced skills in industry standard design tools, including Figma, Google Workspace, Notion and Adobe Creative Suite

Team

  • It’s ‘we’ not ‘me’: Our team of motivated and talented individuals is collectively empowered to build extraordinary thing with people from all types of competencies, from Engineers and Product Designers to Marketeers
  • Comfort sharing work early and often, receiving feedback and collaborating openly across functions
  • Fluent in English, German is a Plus: Although the industry requires fluent English, most of our teams and clients are based in Germany
